Rules

1    Database projects must be the candidate's own work. Chosen topics must be an individual project and not
      part of group work.

2    Database projects should be in 4 distinct sections.

        ·         User requirements and design
        ·         Implementation
        ·         Testing
        ·         User documentation, evaluation and project planning

These may take the form of 4 booklets or 4 distinct sections within 1 project.

3    Work should not be submitted in ring binders or bound in such a way that it is not possible to detach evidence.

4    Candidates should:

        ·         If presenting outputs in a report then avoid cropping their work too much, thus destroying the evidence
e.g. queries where the vital field is not seen

        ·         Not provide screenshots which are so small they are not readable.

5    Note that showing evidence of something implemented is not evidence of the design of user requirements.

6    Marks will only be awarded for work in the relevant section and not in other sections.

This means the examiner will not search through your file in the hope of finding work that you have done.
If the examiner finds work the wrong place, he/she will not allocate marks to it.
