1          When designing a network for a company, the likely topology is one of the areas to be looked at. 
            Compare and contrast the relative advantages and disadvantages of ring and star topologies. [6]

3          Other than cost or size of the organisation, explain in detail three factors that could influence the 
            choice of a computer network for the organisation. [6]

4          Peer-to-peer and client server are two types of computer network. Compare and contrast the two

5          Network topologies have different properties.

            (b)        State two advantages of a ring network. [2]

            (c)        Other than topology issues, discuss in detail three factors that will influence the choice of a

6          A company has moved into an old building and has decided to install a network.

7          The company is considering using a wireless network.

             Describe two advantages and two disadvantages for the company of using a wireless network 
            over a cabled network. [4]
